Tune in to fixed-broadband expertise

Ericsson invites its customers to register for a free, one-hour, online customer seminar about fixed broadband on June 4.

May 21, 2008

Event organizer and moderator Erika Collins says the seminar will address Ericsson’s fixed-broadband offerings and strategies.

“The seminar will be relevant to all our customers and potential customers in the marketplace – from incumbent providers to new entrants,” she says. “Topics and issues will include market drivers; current fixed-broadband solutions and corresponding possible deployment strategies; and the capex-opex decision-making trade-off in terms of fiber versus DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) when considering fixed broadband.”

The session – the latest in Ericsson’s series of free, customer-focused, online seminars – will also feature a question-and-answer session with Ericsson participants George Lioukas, principal consultant at Ericsson in Australia and New Zealand, and Per Ödling, from Ericsson Research in Sweden.

“The content and topics were designed specifically to address issues of interest to our customers, based on previous feedback about what they wanted to see covered,” Collins says. “So we know for certain that customers will find it useful.”

The seminar was specifically designed – it is available online, at no cost, and lasts just an hour – to maximize convenience and ease of access for participants.

It will be staged twice, on June 4 at 9.00 (Central European summertime) and 15.00 (Central European summertime).
