With more than 25 years in telecommunications in general and mobile in particular, Sinclair has worked for a variety of companies in the UK, Germany and the US. In the early 1990's, Sinclair was part of the project team that launched the T-Mobile D1 network in Germany, where he worked on standards (ETSI), OSS/BSS, roaming negotiations, fraud management, product development and foreign license bids. Prior to joining the GSMA, he was Director of Network Engineering at ICO (a Global Satellite venture), with responsibility for the design of the ground network and network management system, as well as roaming and interconnect. Sinclair has been with the GSMA since 2003 and has been CTO since 2005.
