The program aims to promote the work of the Broadband Forum around the world. The program also provides training for the IT industry on broadband developments and applications. Broadband Forum Ambassadors are specially selected for their breadth of experience and expertise within the industry.
Ericsson is represented on the Ambassador Programme by senior research engineer Jaume Rius i Riu. He has been involved in Broadband Forum activities since 2007 and has a PhD and MSc in Physics and a Master in Teaching and Pedagogy.
The mission of the Broadband Forum is to develop the full potential of broadband.
