Ericsson sponsors master’s program in communication networks engineering

The Sant’Anna School for Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy, in collaboration with the University of Tunis in Tunisia and the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, is offering a new two-year international master’s program in communication networks engineering (IMCNE), starting in October 2008.

Ericsson is one of Sant’Anna’s main sponsors, and the company will be hosting a number of lectures during the master’s course.

The Sant’Anna School is a public institution for university-level education and research in social (economics and management, law, and political) and experimental (engineering, medicine, and agricultural) sciences.

Almost 10 years ago, the Sant’Anna School established the Center of Excellence for Information and Communication Engineering (CEIIC) dedicated to the area of information communications technologies (ICT). A unique framework of applied research in this area, CEIIC is providing the technical, managerial, academic and infrastructural support for the master’s degree.
