Ericsson Me-On-TV

It’s me on TV!

With Me-On-TV, media companies can capitalize on user desire to generate their own content, develop unique interactive offerings and dramatically increase available content.

Meeting market needs

Ericsson ConsumerLab research demonstrates that consumers are moving away from pure ‘consumption’ to greater ‘interaction’: driving a trend that leads to increased sharing of everyday experiences. This is proven by the popularity of user-generated content vehicles such as YouTube and Facebook.

Users are also demanding more opportunities to interact and contribute to information and entertainment services rather than remain passive observers. With Me-On-TV, mobile-phone users publish content on and participate live in TV shows, make their own news reports and share videos and other content with TV programs. The options are limited only by the individual’s creativity.
