Looking back on the 2009 GSMA Mobile World Congress on February 16-19, Peter Jarich, Current Analysis Principal Analyst on Wireless Infrastructure, discusses how the global economic crisis is impacting operator’s next generation network ambitions. He also mentions Verizon Wireless’ announcement of choosing Ericsson as one of its network suppliers for LTE as one of the highlights during the event.
