Abstract:
An approach for interoperability between IMS and WebServices deployed within the IMS domain through the introduction of session management techniques for stateless WebServices based on existing SIP session management mechanisms is presented. The approach enables integration of WebServices applications into future telecommunications systems without the need for explicit usage of IMS/SIP protocols.
