Option 1 - Full day

Visit Ericsson’s largest global supply and manufacturing hub based in Nanjing

Founded in 1992, Nanjing is Ericsson’s first and largest factory in China, specializing in design, production and sales of mobile communications systems like GSM, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA as well as program-controlled telephone switching system for China and the global market.
 
Nanjing is the largest of the three key supply and manufacturing hubs of Ericsson worldwide, serving as the company’s global integration center of procurement, manufacturing, distribution and supply chain. With localization percentage of its main products reaching as high as 97%, it is the first choice of software and hardware suppliers in Ericsson’s supply system.
 
The facility has around 2,500 employees, 70% of which hold college or higher degrees. The newly built factory is located in Jiangning Economic & Technology Development Zone, Nanjing, with a floor area of 40,000 m2.

Visit Ericsson R&D center in Shanghai

Inaugurated in 1997, Ericsson’s R&D facility in Shanghai is Asia’s first software research and development center, and an integral part of Ericsson’s global R&D network. As one of the leading software developers in China, it is primarily responsible for developing and providing application software products in Core Network, IMS, Packet Core and Multimedia through technological cooperation with Ericsson Headquarters and subsidiaries all over the world.
 
Consisting of approximately 900 highly competent R&D engineers, the center has won numerous industry and business awards since its establishment, including the “No. 1 Software Export Company in Shanghai” in 2001, “Advanced Software Company in Shanghai” for three consecutive years (2002 thru 2004), and “Advanced Foreign Technology Company” and “Star Software Enterprise in Shanghai” in 2003 and 2004. And in 2007, it won the “China’s Top Employers” award in Shanghai region.
