The call is of two-phases:

In the first phase, partners will be asked to present joint proposals for R&D projects via the following EUREKA Project Application Form

Proposals should be sent directly to eureka@ericsson.com.tr e-mail address.  In addition to electronic application forms, one hard copy of the forms, legally signed by all participating companies will have to be sent to the MATIMOP and TUBITAK.  Faxed or scanned signatures will also be accepted.

Pre-screening of proposals will be jointly done by TÜBİTAK, MATIMOP and Ericsson and eligible proposals should be invited to proceed with second phase.

In the second phase, project partners will be asked to submit national project applications until 24th of July 2008 (17:00, local time). In order to reach national project application forms please visit following web pages to get more detailed information on national funding procedures or contact with national call advisor.

In this phase national project applications will be evaluated by Turkey's and Israel's national funding rules and partners have to present a consortium agreement to MATIMOP and TÜBİTAK with national project application forms.

Projects should meet the following qualifications in order to be regarded as eligible for first and second round evaluation:

  • The partners should include at least one Israeli and one Turkish commercial company (though participation of research institutes/universities is welcome as additional participants or subcontractors according to each country's funding regulations)
  • Companies from other countries may also participate, but they will be funded neither by OCS nor by TÜBİTAK.
  • The project should have an obvious advantage and added value resulting from the cooperation between the participants from the two countries (e.g. increased knowledge base, commercial leads, access to R&D infrastructure etc.)
  • The project should demonstrate the contribution of the participants from both countries.
