In order to check relevance of the project to the subject of the call and to ensure quality of the projects, there will be two-step evaluation procedure.

In the first step, project will be jointly evaluated by MATIMOP, TUBITAK and Ericsson.  The following criteria will be used for the evaluation of project proposals:

• Scientific and technological aspects
• Market needs and economical impact
• Project plan
• Structure of the consortium
• Strategic impact of the project for Turkey, Israel and Ericsson

The result of the evaluation will be communicated with project participants not later then 26th of June 2008.

Eligible project proposals will be invited to proceed with the second step in which partners will be asked to submit national applications. National evaluation of the projects will be performed at national level in accordance with national rules and procedures. Turkish participants will be evaluated by TÜBİTAK and Israeli participants will be evaluated by OCS respectively. At this stage, participants are required to have signed a partnership agreement up to the commercialization of the product, process or service.
