Turkey, Israel and Ericsson announced second call for EUREKA project proposals which targets to generate bilateral EUREKA projects between Turkish and Israeli companies working on information and communication technologies (ICT) domain.
Bilateral projects should target new product, process and service development on ICT domain and it is expected from applicants to develop ready to market solutions or projects which have strong market potential for Turkey and Israel as well as Europe.
MATIMOP and TÜBİTAK will provide access to public funding for joint projects provided by OCS (Office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry & Trade and Labor, Israel) and by TÜBİTAK respectively. They also provide all necessary assistance to project partners during project proposal, evaluation and monitoring phase. In addition, both parties will facilitate EUREKA application process and acquisition of the EUREKA label for accepted proposals.
Ericsson will catalyze this cooperation by providing the technological infrastructure and by bringing its technological and market expertise in project idea selection phase. Ericsson will also guide its partners in its eco-system and to encourage all ICT companies in both countries to create market driven projects.
