Our application process has been designed to be both simple and fair – with plenty of opportunities for feedback. We’ve divided it into four stages, and you need to be successful at each one to move on to the next. And remember – we are only taking applications until 8th April 2011.
This is your initial registration and it should take you no longer than 20 minutes. You will need to complete the form in one go – so we recommend that you take a look at the questions and prepare your answers first before completing you application. You should aim to complete your application form and apply as soon as possible because our Assessment Centres will begin in December 2009.
If your inital application is successful, we’ll then send you the details for both an online ability and psychometric test. You’ll be able to do them at your convenience, and we’ll give you access to practice questions before you complete the final tests.
The next stage of the recruitment process includes a telephone interview. During this interview we will want to learn more about your motivations for applying to join the graduate programme. We’ll also ask you a selection of competency-based questions. The interview will last for about 40 minutes and you’ll be able to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
Success in the previous three stages means you will have made it to the final stage – the assessment centre. These are day-long events that take place in one of our regional offices. Throughout the day there will be a selection of different activities, including both individual and group exercises. You’ll also have an opportunity to meet the hiring managers and network with some of our current graduates.
After the assessment centre, someone from our Recruitment Team will be in touch to let you know if you have been offered a place on the Graduate Scheme.
We think feedback is important and we’ll be happy to provide it at any stage. You’ll find plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout the process. But don’t hesitate to contact the Recruitment team at any stage if you have any queries by contacting the graduate hotline on 0800 111 4495 (when in the UK) or +44 (0) 1628 726 677 (from overseas).
Applications will be accepted until 8th April 2011. We strongly recommend you apply early.
The Graduate Programme will start on 12th September 2011.
