MANAGED OPERATIONS
Managed Operations delivers operational and technical support for mobile operators.
It is responsible for all activities related to proactively managing and monitoring our customers' networks, and supporting IT systems and applications. Managed Operations also delivers new services and technologies into service on our customer's behalf.
This support includes monitoring, fixing, protecting and preventative activities around IT and network technologies.
Within the Operations area there are the following key functions;
- Network Operations
- Service Management
- IT Operations
The key responsibilities are of Managed Operations are:
- To deliver service stability, availability and quality to our customers (as a minimum to agreed Service Level Agreements).
- To effectively manage network incidents to resolution in the most effective and timely manner.
- To support the effective implementation of projects and programmes.
- To ensure that operational financial and budgetary targets are met.
- To develop the technical and non-technical skills of all members of Operations teams so that they can continue to support Ericsson's value.
