Ericsson takes full responsibility for network and service-operation activities on behalf of wireline, wireless and enterprise customers. The undertaking can range from the planning, design, establishment and deployment of a customer’s service strategies to the management of day-to-day operations (including field services) of the network. Operations are regularly assessed against mutually agreed performance goals.

Ericsson offers a capacity-oriented infrastructure and managed services solution, enabling customers to improve total cost of ownership and deploy capacity and coverage when and where they need it. We provide everything from the core and access networks all the way to the service layer, depending on a customer’s requirements. We also handle the planning, design deployment and management of day-to-day operations. Our managed common-infrastructure solutions address the situation where operators share parts of the access network.

Our Managed Services hosting offering allows wireless and wireline operations to provide revenue-generating services to subscribers, including the enterprise segment. Hosting also allows launches and integration to be done quickly, easily and cost efficiently. We take responsibility for round-the-clock management, integration and maintenance of the hosted solution and facilitate content distribution as well as content-lifecycle management. The offering includes content and applications (music, games and video offered by our content partners), messaging (such as MMS and video mail), enterprise services (including voice and mobile data) and other services such as Pre-Paid, Push-to-Talk and hosted payment services.
