A talent pool with a track record of nurturing future leaders.
One of our top priorities is to accelerate the professional development of our consultants. We provide high impact trainings to keep up to speed in the fast-moving environment of management consulting in the tech industry. Continuous feedback and guidance is provided by dedicated mentors to ensure our consultants get the most out of project experiences, and to ensure that everyone can be at their best.
To help our consultants achieve maximum impact in a global context, we work actively to expose our team to different clients in new geographies.
Jon, Associate Principal, says:
The relationships with senior stakeholders that you build over time are long-lasting and very helpful as your career progresses either within SPP or in a line role. I almost feel like I now have multiple mentors in many different parts of the organization.
Amanda, Business Analyst
During my time here, I've been exposed to a great variety of projects and worked in many different teams. In each engagement I've developed in a specific way: in some I learned to master Excel and other "hard" skills; in others I learned about group dynamics and influencing stakeholders to maximize impact.

How have you developed during your time at SPP?
During my time here, I've been exposed to a great variety of projects and worked in many different teams. In each engagement I've developed in a specific way: in some I learned to master Excel and other "hard" skills; in others I learned about group dynamics and influencing stakeholders to maximize impact. The greatest source of learning has actually been the clients themselves – seeing them work and interact in the corporate structure has taught me a lot about leadership and getting things done.
Who would be the perfect fit for Ericsson Management Consulting?
In my mind, there is not one Ericsson Management Consulting personality type that fits straight into the box, but rather a person who (1) share our values of professionalism and respect, (2) gets motivated by daily team challenges and personal development, and (3) is curious to always learn more and find possible improvements.
What is truly amazing about SPP is the exposure you are guaranteed to get at such an early stage in your career. Together with talented and inspiring colleagues, you solve complex business problems that Ericsson's top executives are facing.

I thought the idea of taking on some of the key challenges that Ericsson's top management is facing, while working in a management consulting setting, was a really enticing prospect.

What attracted you to SPP?
I thought the idea of taking on some of the key challenges that Ericsson's top management is facing, while working in a management consulting setting, was a really enticing prospect. I also saw this as a great way to build a network across Ericsson and to experience the whole of Ericsson Group – both geographically as well as functionally. The journey so far has definitively delivered on my expectations and surprised me many times.
How have you seen the group evolve over the years?
SPP has grown from just a handful of gifted management consultants some 10 years ago, to become one of the largest in-house management consulting units globally with 50+ professionals. I believe that this is a testament to the value that SPP brings to the Ericsson Group. I have seen us deepen and broaden our relationships with Ericsson top management, develop in-house expertise and methodologies, and grow a talented and diverse team. All the while maintaining a unique and vibrant culture.
Collaboration and diversity is at the heart of how we work
We believe that a group of highly motivated consultants works best in a collaborative environment with strong diversity. Our consultants represent a wide variety of personal and professional backgrounds, and numerous nationalities. Mutual respect and teamwork are our core tenets, while we maintain a highly meritocratic culture. All this while not forgetting to have fun along the way.
David, Head of SPP, says:
At SPP we strive to consistently deliver the highest value to Ericsson and our clients, while maintaining a collaborative and fun environment.

Important notice: fraudulent job offers
It has come to our attention that emails and job adverts have been created and circulated by unknown individuals for the purpose of attempting to defraud candidates.
Potential candidates should be wary of approaches that appear to be offering a job for which they have not applied, especially if personal details or money must be sent in order to proceed with the recruitment. Neither Ericsson nor any commissioned third parties recruit in this manner. Such approaches are almost certainly fraudulent attempts to gain details of identity for illegal use.
Ericsson is taking all necessary steps to investigate this matter further.
