The first NB-IoT Hackathon for Malaysia

Accelerating Digital Malaysia through IoT innovation

We have just completed an amazing initiative called – Hack for Good – a joint- partnership and collaboration with UTM, Axiata Xpand, Celcom, MCMC and others. Hack for Good encouraged university students and experienced professionals to build IoT solutions relevant to Malaysia across categories of: IoT saves lives, IoT sustains Water, Energy, and Utilities; IoT Transforms Road Transportation and IoT Modernizes Agriculture.

We did this by enabling the first Narrow-Band IoT network in Malaysia with our customer, Celcom, and by making available our Virtual EPC and IoT accelerator platform- a cloud based horizontal cross-industry offering. Ericsson’s IoT accelerator is designed to speed up and simplify the development of IoT solutions by providing developers with tools for integrating connectivity, enable device management, data analytics and expose information through APIs in the market place.

Celebrating 110 years in Indonesia

Celebrating 110 years in Indonesia

Ericsson came to Indonesia in 1907, and our first contribution to Indonesia was helping people across this vast country connect with each other through the provision of telephones and manual telephone exchanges. And over the years, in partnership with the customers, the government and the industry, we pioneered not only the automation of fixed line telephones, but most importantly, mobile telephony – significantly changing the way Indonesians live, work and communicate.

But we're not stopping there - click here to see what we're working on today!

Our future

Listen to David Song FCPA, CFO Ericsson Australia, talk about our vision for the future.

Innovation in our region

Throughout the more than 15 countries in our region, we have some of the most advanced telecom markets along with some of the least developed. This represents a tremendous opportunity for Ericsson to leverage the success we have already had, while growing the emerging markets in our region. To get there, we need talented people who have a vision for how Ericsson technology can transform society in this part of the world.

Find your job...

If you already know what you’re looking for, start here. You can view all of our current vacancies across all of our regions.

It has come to our attention that emails and job adverts have been created and circulated by unknown individuals for the purpose of attempting to defraud candidates.

Potential candidates should be wary of approaches that appear to be offering a job for which they have not applied, especially if personal details or money must be sent in order to proceed with the recruitment. Neither Ericsson nor any commissioned third parties recruit in this manner. Such approaches are almost certainly fraudulent attempts to gain details of identity for illegal use.

Ericsson is taking all necessary steps to investigate this matter further.
