Ericsson has had a continuous presence in Tunisia since 1964. We now have more than 100 employees and we’re continuing to grow. We’ve launched a new Training Academy in Tunis and we’re opening a new Near Shore Center – focusing on R&D – to support innovation across the Maghreb and Mediterranean regions. Near Shore Center Tunisia will provide the connection between global innovation and local delivery, supporting effective customer engagement throughout the region. Initially, we will focus on Consulting, Strategy and Integration, helping to establish and implement frameworks for project assessment, solution and delivery. By adopting a consistent approach, we will also create opportunities for people in the Near Shore Center to work on wider global projects in the future.

Cloud lab in Italy

ph

Ericsson has launched a new Cloud Lab in Rome, Italy, enabling faster innovation and co-creation with leading telecoms operators. The lab is an open and multi-vendor environment, allowing operators to experiment and learn how cloud infrastructure can be designed and integrated into existing environments. Telecom operators and Ericsson can jointly develop concepts and execute trials for new-use cases and cloud services, and operators can then access the Cloud Lab virtually from any of their premises worldwide. “This new lab is an example of Ericsson's passion for driving innovations in Italy,” says Nunzio Mirtillo, Head of Region Mediterranean, Ericsson.

It has come to our attention that emails and job adverts have been created and circulated by unknown individuals for the purpose of attempting to defraud candidates.

Potential candidates should be wary of approaches that appear to be offering a job for which they have not applied, especially if personal details or money must be sent in order to proceed with the recruitment. Neither Ericsson nor any commissioned third parties recruit in this manner. Such approaches are almost certainly fraudulent attempts to gain details of identity for illegal use.

Ericsson is taking all necessary steps to investigate this matter further.
