Strategic Product Manager
‘I work to provide mobile financial solutions for the 2 billion people in the world who do not have a bank account. Either they are too poor to be served by the bank or they live in an area that is inaccessible to banking. Our Mobile Money solutions are helping these people gain access to services that we take for granted in the western world. Being part of an emerging market like this is very exciting, and Ericsson is uniquely positioned to deliver.
Every day in my job, I work with my colleagues, partners and customers to provide solutions that are easy to use and that scale well when usage increases. It’s very fulfilling to connect people with financial services that they need and that they would not otherwise be able to access.
I came to Ericsson right out of University and entered an Ericsson graduate leadership management program. In the five years that I have been here, I have seen so many parts of the world. I spent six months in Japan and another five months in Hong Kong, working with different parts of the organization to solve customer needs in Telecom and TV & Media. I have travelled to places like Nigeria, the United States and Vietnam—places I never would have seen without working at a global company like Ericsson.
The company culture builds on our strong legacy of technology, encouraging an open environment where people share ideas and have discussions. What’s truly surprising to people when they first come here is the caring environment that is evident right away. All you have to do is ask, and colleagues are genuinely interested in helping you grow. You have real opportunities to create your own career path here and to explore what you can do to achieve your career goals.
Ericsson is in a strong position to move forward and build on its connectivity, addressing new issues and creating groundbreaking solutions. I like working at a place where no two days are alike and where I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings, whether it takes me to a new place in the world or an exciting new innovative product and solution.’

Important notice: fraudulent job offers
It has come to our attention that emails and job adverts have been created and circulated by unknown individuals for the purpose of attempting to defraud candidates.
Potential candidates should be wary of approaches that appear to be offering a job for which they have not applied, especially if personal details or money must be sent in order to proceed with the recruitment. Neither Ericsson nor any commissioned third parties recruit in this manner. Such approaches are almost certainly fraudulent attempts to gain details of identity for illegal use.
Ericsson is taking all necessary steps to investigate this matter further.
