We need to equip our talented people with the skills they need to deliver effectively for our customers.This means offering formal training programs that support our technical teams with specialist knowledge and qualifications, while at the same time providing creative learning tools to encourage every Ericsson employee to engage with the latest thinking. Many of the training programs we offer are renowned throughout the industry.
The Ericsson technical certification program
More than 40% of all mobile traffic around the world goes through Ericsson networks. We’re the 5th largest software company in the world and the leader in areas such as Radio Access, Telecom Services, OSS and BSS. The demand for our technical expertise is constant and the Ericsson Technical Certification Program (ETCP) ensures that our people achieve industry-standard and above.
Develop your technical expertise
The ETCP is a fantastic way of maintaining your knowledge, skills and professional credibility. It is open to every employee in a Technical function who needs a solid understanding of Ericsson products and services. In particular, we encourage people who want a great career in Architecture, Design, Planning, Configuration, Integration, Operation, Support or related activities to gain ETCP qualifications.
As you develop, the ETCP provides an escalating level of achievement so it continues to support you as you need to deepen your technical knowledge. Through the ETCP, individuals progress from Associate to Professional, and finally to Expert.
Sales excellence
How we engage with our customers is just as important to the success of our business as how we engage with emerging technologies. The Sales Excellence Program provides Ericsson employees with the tools and skills they need to build relationships, grow business opportunities and introduce Ericsson as a consultative, collaborative technology partner.
The Sales Excellence Program is aimed at current Ericsson people in Key Account Management, Technical Management or Commercial Management roles. It empowers customer-facing professionals to generate a deep understanding of customers and their environment, providing the platform you need to position Ericsson solutions and initiate strategic discussions.
The Program grows with you, supporting you in your career development over three structured phases. Your journey will take you from Qualified to Professional, and finally on to Master.
