Hossam Kandeel

Hossam is a passionate leader in technologies and services that deliver value to customers and enable positive change on people and society.  He thrives on building high performing teams and delivering strong execution.

In 1996, Hossam started his career as Technical Sales with NEC VSAT Solutions. He then moved to Schlumberger Oilfield Services to further enable business performance through wireless & IT solutions. In 2001, he joined Ericsson Group to bring data services to mobile networks for Vodafone Egypt. 

During his 19 years at Ericsson, Hossam has held various leadership roles across the company such as solutions, sales, strategy & marketing, operational excellence and government & industry relations. Hossam has contributed to developing business, financial & operational KPIs and employee’s engagement and improved customer satisfaction with insightful engagements

Hossam has also worked with entrepreneurship for few years as co-founder, consultant & mentor towards individual entrepreneurs, startups, incubators & investors

Hossam was born in Cairo, Egypt and holds a Masters of Business Administration – International Business from Maastricht School of Management in 2001, and a Bachelor of Electronics & Communications Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt in 1996.
