Vice President and Head of Customer Unit South and East Africa at Ericsson Middle East & Africa
In this role, Jonathan is responsible for Ericsson's business of enabling the value of full connectivity in over 20 countries in South and East Africa.
Jonathan has worked in the IT & Telecom industries, including a total of 18 years with Ericsson spread over two separate periods. He first began his professional career at the British IT company International Computers Limited (ICL), now acquired by Fujitsu, where he worked for 7 years and went on to gain experience with Comverse & Kenan in the Billing arena for 2 years.
He holds a range of experience from roles in Technical Support, Sourcing & Partnering, Project, Pricing, Commercial Management & Sales developed while leading various projects for customers in Europe, the Middle East, U.S. and Africa. Prior to assuming his current role, Jonathan was Head of Pricing & Transformation Program, Commercial Management, Region Middle East.
Jonathan was born in 1968, in London U.K. and qualified as a Chartered Engineer after studying B.Eng. Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol. During his first spell at Ericsson he also qualified for an MBA at Henley Business School in the U.K.
