Ludvig Landgren talks about NFV becoming industrialized, and how NFV will transform to 5G Core. He also talks about the economic impact of network slicing, and gives examples of successful Telco deployments of NFV.

On Tuesday morning Ludvig Landgren, VP, Network Applications & Cloud Infrastructure, Market Area Oceania, South East Asia and India, had a keynote in the Capricorn room where he covered NFV & SDN and how to get ready for 5G. This means that telecom operators will transform to become digital service providers. Analytics is key to drive business and operational decisions, and three important key areas to become digital are programmable networks, automated operation and digital engagement.
