Summer in the Labs: Machine Learning Intern Stories
Students from many different fields join Ericsson Research for internships or thesis work. You could be next. Summer in the Labs is a blog series on the Ericsson Research Blog where interns at Ericsson Research told us about their experiences.
Machine intelligence – the combination of machine learning and artificial intelligence methods – is a hot technology area that will impact all areas of life and society. Mattias, Sandra and Vaishnavi have all worked with aspects of Machine Intelligence at Ericsson Research.
“The variation of projects, the opportunity to learn at work and a great mentor is what has made me return again and again.”
Mattias is doing his fifth summer at Ericsson. Read about the research projects he has been working on this summer in his post, Continuous Learning at Ericsson Research.
“It’s fun and inspiring to talk to others in the group about what they do, what they’ve achieved and what their challenges are.”
Sandra is working her second summer with Machine Intelligence. Read her experience at Ericsson Research in her post, Machine Intelligence Collaboration.
“My professor and my mentors are giving me the right space to grow into a machine learning and data scientist.”
Read about how Vaishnavi integrated programming, principles of algorithm design, machine learning and industrial economic practices in development in her post, Exploring Ericsson Big Data Research Program.
