Trends in Digital BSS podcast: Dez Blanchfield with Jan Karlsson
Welcome to our third episode of our ongoing podcast series; “Transmissions from Tomorrow” by Dez Blanchfield, where we get an insiders view from people driving the next wave of digital transformation and innovation for Telco operators.
In this week’s episode, Dez catches up with Jan Karlsson, who heads up Solution Area Business Support Solutions (BSS) at Ericsson since Feb 2017.
BSS is a key transformation enabler for operators and Ericsson is uniquely positioned as a partner to operators such as Entel and VEON, where we have proven market-leading Digital BSS solutions on offer.
In this podcast, Dez talks to Jan about his current role, they discuss how important is BSS to the operator transformation journey and they discuss how important Digital BSS is for the latest generation of customer experience.
In addition, Jan shares his experience of leaving Ericsson and joining a start up, he reveals some lessons learned as part of that journey, which he carries with him today and continues to shape and drive his vision for how the Telco industry must transform.
