Today is International Women's Dayread more about when and why it started, how it is being celebrated in different countries and what this year's theme - #BalanceforBetter – is all about it.


LinkedIn just released a very interesting Gender Insights report. After looking at billions of actions between candidates and companies, they came up with some key findings. Women for example are 16% less likely than men to apply to a job after viewing it – but when they did apply, they were 16% more likely to get hired.

Gender Equality

According to a new report from the World Bank, there are only 6 countries in the world that provide equal legal work rights for women. The good news is that there is progress – a decade ago there was not a single country that provided equal rights. Read more here.
