OSS Summit 2019-Excel with Automation in action
Time flies. The OSS Summit 2019 will soon be here again on October 1 and 2. Taking place in Zurich, this is a key event for the OSS community and, personally, it’s my favorite event of the year. It’s a chance for the Service providers across the globe to have quality discussions, share challenges and best practice and to grow the relationship to move business further.
The OSS Summit is an annual event initiated by Ericsson in 1999. This means, of course, that this year we’ll be celebrating its twentieth anniversary. The OSS Summit 2019 will take place in Zurich, Switzerland and we are honored to say that Swisscom will be this year’s host.
What can you expect from this two-day event?
We’ll have two full days of keynotes, presentations, panel discussions and demos. We’ve and invited service providers from all over the world who will come together under this year’s theme: Automation in action.
The Theme Automation in action aims to really connect the role of OSS driving automation in the 5G and IoT era. 5G and IoT is growing, and they’re a key part of the envisioned networks of the future. Having relevant OSS capabilities therefore becomes crucial to shaping these networks, making them a reality and enabling new business revenues.
We’ll have a wide variety of C-level executives and directors from global operators such as British Telecom, Deutsche Telecom, Swisscom, Turkcell, Verizon and Vodafone sharing their experiences on cloud transformation, early 5G learnings and customer experience beyond network.
Agenda and topics
Our agenda will include various sessions and topic specific break-outs. We have customers who will share their experiences in the area of OSS, including both success cases and challenges. There will also be a set of demos that we have prepared for you to explore during the breaks.
The agenda will include operator keynotes, Ericsson keynotes, market analyst and industry keynote sessions and panel discussions based on the following topics:
- Cloud transformation in a multivendor context
