Today we are talking about discrimination in the workplace, why a US company is currently being sued for caste bias, a new podcast series about race and some interesting insights about the history of gender. Discrimination in the workplace can be subtle but can have a devastating effect on those discriminated against and the entire company culture. Good article with some tips what employers can do to empower their employees to call out discrimination.


This is an interesting lawsuit against a tech company in the US. While discrimination based on the caste system was banned in India over 70 years ago, California regulators are currently suing Cisco for caste bias.


If you enjoy listening to podcasts, add “Nice White Parents” to your list. The series was just released and is talking about the segregation of public schools in the US and the importance of anti-racist work.


In the Western world, gender is usually seen as binary - so men and women (with a third gender / non-binary recognized in some societies). But there are (ancient) cultures, where gender has been much more complex. Interesting video, please watch!
