World of work

HR services provider Randstad just released its latest edition of the Workmonitor report, surveying over 35,000 workers from around the world. According to the report, job security is very important to people - but they also ask for flexibility, work-life balance and belonging. More than half (61%) said that they would not accept a job if it would impact their work-life balance. Read more here.

Diversity

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lighthouses 2023 Report from Global Parity Alliance (GPA) was just released. The report shows success factors that were common among impactful D&I initiatives, and shares several case studies – worth reading!

Discrimination

This week, Dutch LGBTQ+ and disability rights activists celebrated a historic victory - the Dutch Senate approved an amendment to the constitution to explicitly prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and disability. Read more here.

Inclusion

The Publicis Foundation just launched “Working with Cancer”, a global movement to erase the stigma of cancer in the workplace. The campaign “Work/Life” illustrates what people go through when trying to hide their diagnosis at work – watch the video.
