Gender bias

According to a new study, LLM (large language model) chatbots such as ChatGPT might replicate gender bias in their output. The researchers tested recommendation letters and noticed a significant difference in how the fictional men and women were described. Read more here.

International men’s day

Sunday, the 19th of November, was International Men’s Day, and this year’s theme was “Zero Male Suicide”. This interesting audio clip addresses mental health issues of fathers, along with the correlation between separated male parents and suicide rates.
