Corporate diversity programs

Car manufacturer Ford has become the latest company to announce that it is scaling back DEI programs. The company said that it will no longer use quotas for minority dealerships or suppliers, as well as discontinue participation in the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index and other "best places to work" rankings. AI bias

New research has found that large language models (LLMs) such as GPT4 continue to produce racist prejudices against African American English (AAE) speakers, even when trained not to associate negative stereotypes with Black people. Read more here.
