Women at work

The 10th edition of the “Women in the Workplace” report from McKinsey (in partnership with LeanIn.Org) is here. While notable gains have been made and more women are achieving C-suite positions, progress in entry-level and managerial roles has stalled. The report also highlights a decline in corporate efforts to promote gender diversity and mentorship for women.

Neurodiversity

For neurodivergent people, travelling can be extremely stressful. More and more destinations are now making efforts to become more welcoming to autistic and other neurodivergent visitors, with some actively seeking autism certification. Read more here.

LGBTQ+

According to a new study, LGBTQ+ adults may have a greater risk of poor brain health, including dementia, strokes and late-life depression. Read more here.

Mental health

The 10th of October is World Mental Health Day. Sporting goods company ASICS just released this “Public Service Announcement” with actor Brian Cox to remind people to take a desk break. Watch it here.
