Mikael Höök is Research Director of Radio Access Technologies at Ericsson Research since 2007. The unit's responsibility covers research of air-interface design, advanced signal processing, multi-antenna systems, propagation and RF design. Results are fed into standardization, regulation and product development. Mikael has been involved in the research and standardization of 2G, 3G, 4G and now 5G radio access. He holds an M.Sc. Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
