Business Consulting

Identifying and understanding end-user needs and meeting them with relevant offerings is crucial. Business model evolution, service innovation and introduction of new technologies also take on increasing importance. This requires a broad approach that engages every part of an organization, which in turn rests on having the right strategy in place. At every step of the partnership, we focus on customer understanding, technology evolution and value creation.

IT Consulting

With more than 2,500 technology consultants supported by 10 Regional Competence Centers, we are the clear market leader in Technology Consulting. We give our customers access to the latest technology, validated methods and processes, and expertise from operations in each part of the world. Our teams pride themselves on their capability to take on specific, unique operational challenge or to provide an entire business transformation strategy.

Operational Consulting

Efficient organizations and streamlined operations enable customers to drive down immediate costs, gain flexibility to accommodate growth, and respond faster to market conditions and business needs. Transformation at a network operation level provides capacity for new services, and improvements to existing ones, empowering our customers to deliver real business differentiation.

Consulting roles

Our Consultants work in close partnership with our customers, exploring how we can help their business to achieve its potential in The Networked Society. This could involve building their network. It could involve transforming their capability. It might also involve helping them to harness the power of new technologies, such as Cloud.

Whatever the scenario, whatever the project, whatever the location, Ericsson brings a unique consultative approach. We have an extraordinary depth of resources, knowledge and expertise, plus a consistent track record of delivering major global projects.

Our people

Some of our Consultants specialize in a technical area or in an industry sector. But the comprehensive thinking that we adopt means that our Consultants need to bring broad commercial awareness to every project they are involved in.

We’re interested in people who can listen to a customer, understand their business objectives and engage colleagues in developing innovative, holistic solutions. Advanced communication skills are vital. You could be working with Ericsson colleagues from different business functions and with customers all over the world. You’ll be the one who finds opportunities, brings the right talent together and shapes the perfect solution.

Ericsson has now invested in a dedicated Cloud Transformation consulting practice that will use specialized methodologies and tools to virtualize telecom applications and execute cloud strategies. In addition to gaining access to capabilities across CSI domains, customers will benefit from Ericsson's partnerships with leading cloud professionals.
