‘I work to provide mobile financial solutions for the 2 billion people in the world who do not have a bank account. Either they are too poor to be served by the bank or they live in an area that is inaccessible to banking. Our Mobile Money solutions are helping these people gain access to services that we take for granted in the western world. Being part of an emerging market like this is very exciting, and Ericsson is uniquely positioned to deliver.

Every day in my job, I work with my colleagues, partners and customers to provide solutions that are easy to use and that scale well when usage increases. It’s very fulfilling to connect people with financial services that they need and that they would not otherwise be able to access.

I came to Ericsson right out of University and entered an Ericsson graduate leadership management program. In the five years that I have been here, I have seen so many parts of the world. I spent six months in Japan and another five months in Hong Kong, working with different parts of the organization to solve customer needs in Telecom and TV & Media. I have travelled to places like Nigeria, the United States and Vietnam—places I never would have seen without working at a global company like Ericsson.
