Yuriy Glushchenko

ICT Account Manager

‘I started at Ericsson about six months ago, and the first thing that became apparent to me is that I was part of the team from the very first day. I was welcomed by long-term employees and newer ones alike, and that friendly and helpful environment has been there every day. I was able to dive right in to a huge multi-national team right away, and my initial experience confirmed that I had made the right decision by joining Ericsson.

In my role here, I am in charge of the sales lead cycle and relationship management. As such, I am in a customer-facing position, so I get to hear from external clients what they think about Ericsson. Without fail, they always say that they know Ericsson can address any issue and that the company has huge capabilities. But even beyond the operational elements, they see Ericsson as a trusted advisor, a stable and transparent partner that they can rely on. This makes my job so much easier, because you can approach customers with that solid reputation to support you.

The company culture is built on transparency and equality, and you know that you have a commitment from everyone on your team. This really appeals to me and makes for a cohesive environment. I know that if I achieve my goals, I will have many chances to advance and develop.

In my role, I have to be up to date on both the latest technology and the business, and Ericsson makes it easy to get the information I need to do my job well. The environment is always dynamic and challenging, and I am always excited by the challenge of interacting with new clients and bringing Ericsson solutions to customers.’

It has come to our attention that emails and job adverts have been created and circulated by unknown individuals for the purpose of attempting to defraud candidates.

Potential candidates should be wary of approaches that appear to be offering a job for which they have not applied, especially if personal details or money must be sent in order to proceed with the recruitment. Neither Ericsson nor any commissioned third parties recruit in this manner. Such approaches are almost certainly fraudulent attempts to gain details of identity for illegal use.

Ericsson is taking all necessary steps to investigate this matter further.
