Our teams work across services and functional areas to deliver innovation that enables businesses to use mobile and generate revenues more effectively. Here’s just a few more examples of the work we’re doing.
Ten years ago, more than 65 percent of all Ericsson sales were for hardware while the remaining was for software and services. Today, those numbers have flipped and the majority of what we sell is software and services. To develop as a software house, we need to transform many aspects of our organization including our software sales capabilities. That means recruiting more talented people who truly understand the value of software and the impact it can make on business solutions.
TV and Media
Today, mobile video dominates network traffic growth and is forecast to grow by around 45 percent annually through to 2020. In fact, over the next six years, total mobile video traffic will grow 17 times more than it did in the last six years. To help service providers across the media landscape, Ericsson is building a software-defined media architecture that spans the TV value chain. This includes solutions for media delivery, media processing, and solutions for creating the ultimate user experience.
Digital technologies are transforming the utilities sector too, giving producers of energy powerful new insights and allowing them to connect with customers in new ways. Ericsson is a catalyst in this transformation, helping Utilities companies to create personalized customer strategies, drive customer loyalty and stickiness, enhance customer satisfaction and quickly introducing by up-selling and cross-selling products and services.

Important notice: fraudulent job offers
It has come to our attention that emails and job adverts have been created and circulated by unknown individuals for the purpose of attempting to defraud candidates.
Potential candidates should be wary of approaches that appear to be offering a job for which they have not applied, especially if personal details or money must be sent in order to proceed with the recruitment. Neither Ericsson nor any commissioned third parties recruit in this manner. Such approaches are almost certainly fraudulent attempts to gain details of identity for illegal use.
Ericsson is taking all necessary steps to investigate this matter further.
