Industry 4.0 Track - Rotation and Mentorship Program
We are seeking A Spring 2023 bachelor's degree graduate in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Programming, Mathematics, Physics, and/or similar learning experiences.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for new graduates who want to join our 21-month Rotation and Mentorship Program (RAMP) and making our amazing company even better.
Successful candidates will have the following:
- 0-2 years of work experience, including internships;
- Located in or willingness to relocate to the Lewisville, TX area;
- Passion for embracing, leading, and driving innovative ways to build functional tech solutions;
- Ability to understand the granular components of problems, while keeping a broad system-level approach to solutioning;
- Knowledge and understanding of process improvement methodologies including Lean Six Sigma and Agile;
- Desire to formulate improvement strategies that include end users and top level stakeholders, and effectively drive and communicate change;
- Interest and skills for network technology, such as solution architecture and analytics, industrial engineering, product engineering, software programming, test development, producibility & system management engineering;
RAMP consists of three 6-month rotations and three 30-day sprints.
Each rotation is built around a project with challenging goals and a meaningful business impact. Participants play an active role in identifying rotations that will best meet their development needs and professional interests.
30 day sprints focus on skills development through shadowing opportunities, starting with an immersive onboarding experience that connects new employees with over 50 teammates and leaders across Ericsson in 30 days. The opportunity to rapidly build your professional network and develop your mentoring board of mentors will be supercharged from Day 1.

The RAMP program helped me have a better understanding of how our business works and allowed me to embody some of the core values of Ericsson on the Move. When I first came into the business, Ericsson gave me a lot of different avenues of the company to pursue. RAMP provided me the exposure I needed so that I can now connect with peers across the country and have common ground to understand what we do. RAMP creates a unique common ground between each of the cohorts. Having the initial steps to enter into a new culture gave that sense of cooperation and collaboration that Ericsson on the Move writes to.

Being a part of the RAMP Industry 4.0 track has given me the opportunity to learn more about Ericsson and have a better understanding of the products we provide for our customers. The rotations at the Smart Factory will give me the chance to work in different departments on various projects and I hope I am able to learn and develop skills to help the factory strive for success. In my project so far at the 5G Smart Factory it has given me the chance to work closely with LT, various teams and the operators. I am fortunate to continue to build these relationships and get to do it with my fellow co-horts who are there to support me along the way.

The Industry 4.0 track has given me the opportunity to work at Ericsson’s SMART Factory. Working in such an innovative environment has allowed for me to rapidly expand on my technical skills. Working with factory experts and my cohort has also improved my professional skills. The opportunities available to further my career are simply immeasurable.
