Ericsson and Veoneer showcases collaborative driving at CES 2020

At CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Ericsson will join and support its automotive industry partner Veoneer in showcasing thought and technology leadership in Active Safety (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD). Veoneer uses Ericsson Connected Vehicle Cloud to connect ADAS products.

Targeting automotive OEMs, cities and end users, Veoneer will set up a test track with a Verizon 5G network powered by Ericsson technology. For the urban driving experience on Vegas roads, Veoneer relies on the Verizon commercial 4G network.

Both showcases underline the cellular connectivity importance in, e.g., extended line of sight use cases, giving the vehicle access to additional data for better and safer decisions.
