Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) today announces the inauguration of its new Global Service Center office in Empresalia corporate campus in Querétaro state to increase the capabilities of its Global Service Center in Mexico. The new 8,000 sqm facility will also host a Global Network Operation Center, incorporating all of the latest technology for remote monitoring and administration of network operations for Ericsson’s global customers.

The new facility in Querétaro is an expansion of Ericsson´s already existing Global Service Center in Mexico. It will also deliver planning, design, implementation and support services to customers in the Americas and Europe and will help to attract highly skilled professionals through its strategically location next to universities.

Ericsson´s Global Service Centers allow reaching significant efficiencies of scale and focus on deliveries that can be made remotely. The Global Service Centers also include Global Network Operation Centers (GNOCs), where a significant portion of the subscribers in our managed services deals are served.
