Rima Qureshi, Chief Strategy Officer, Ericsson talks about how Ericsson has segmented three different ways an operator can position themselves in the market.

The first is as a network and connectivity provider – providing the best network with the best experience. The second is as a service enabler – by opening up their networks to allow others to provide services on top of it. And the third is as as a service provider – providing everything including content.

Rima also talks about how the Networked Society means that everything that can be connected will be connected and this affects the operators and their roles.
