Final results confirm oversubscription of rights offering

The final results for the rights offering show that 7,882,418,914 B shares or 99.7 percent of the new B shares offered, were subscribed for by the exercise of rights. Including the demand for shares on a non-preferential basis the offering was oversubscribed by approximately 37 percent. These subscription levels are slightly higher than the preliminary results announced on September 6, 2002. Gross proceeds in the rights offering will amount to SEK 30.1 billion.

Slutlig sammanräkning bekräftar överteckning i Ericssons nyemission

Den slutliga sammanräkningen i nyemissionen visar att 7,882,418,914 B-aktier, motsvarande 99,7 procent av de erbjudna B-aktierna, tecknades med stöd av teckningsrätter. Inklusive de B-aktier som tecknades utan stöd av teckningsrätter övertecknades nyemissionen med cirka 37 procent. Det slutliga resultatet är sålunda något högre än det preliminära resultat som offentliggjordes den 6 september 2002. Emissionslikviden kommer att uppgå till totalt SEK 30,1 miljarder.

Ericsson comments on Moody's rating

Moody's today announced that it has downgraded the long-term credit rating of Ericsson from Ba1 to Ba2, removing the Credit Watch status, but leaving the Outlook Negative. Our short-term rating was not under review and is not affected by this action.
