Ericsson and Microcell S.A. have completed the transaction whereby Microcell takes over Ericsson's majority holdings in the former joint venture Ericsson Panda Mobile Terminals Co. Ltd. in Nanjing, China.
LLC TelecomInvest-XXI and Ericsson sign USD 40M contract

Following the press release dated June 12, 2002 announcing the purchase by Infineon Technologies AG of Ericsson's Microelectronics division, Ericsson is pleased to announce that the transaction has now been approved by all responsible anti-trust authorities. Ericsson responds to BB+ rating by Standard & Poor's
Standard & Poor's today announced that it has downgraded the long-term credit rating of Ericsson from BBB- to BB+, maintaining their CreditWatch status pending completion of the rights offering. Ericsson's ratings from Standard & Poor's and Moody's Investor Services are now aligned. The downgrade has no effect on Ericsson's rights offering.
