Ericsson is set to showcase its latest network-related demos at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The Swedish telecom vendor spotlights its leading technology across topics including accelerating networks, monetizing 5G, and its vision of future networks.

The extension reinforces the partners’ ambition to develop the foundation for future immersive and seamless XR experiences even in the most-demanding use cases.

European collaboration to ensure 6G networks meet the technology, connectivity, sustainability and societal needs of its time - including the importance of 6G standardization - is set to take a significant step forward with the announcement of Hexa-X-II, the second phase of the European Commission’s (EC) flagship 6G research project.
