Future Connections NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp

Portfolio

Future Connections | Network Deployment

The NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp rectifies baseline configuration consistency errors based on an innovative engine of low-code Configuration Management (CM) policy settings and configuration consistency check. The solution can operate in open loop or closed loop mode and consider user-defined exceptions. Additionally, the rApp can revert configuration changes and quarantine network elements if it detects any degradation in KPIs.

OUR KEY BENEFITS

Immediate detection of configuration errors

The NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp drastically reduces the time typically spent detecting and correcting errors due to misalignment with the baseline. Automated baseline analysis reduces the inconsistencies active in the network and improves performance and predictability. The NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp can operate in closed loop mode, so audit cycle can be drastically reduced and applied during every network element integration procedure or topology change.

Full baseline analysis

Current complex deployments need complex rules to obtain an optimised baseline. Unlike other network consistency checkers, the NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp introduces an innovative method for seamlessly working with complex baseline configuration rules. It is based on a low-code implementation which can fit to any condition defined by the mobile network operator. Inter-managed objects relations and topology conditions can be added using keywords and internal procedures to translate and audit them. The rules of the rApp can also be extended to allow managed object creation or deletion.

AI models to ensure network stability

Baseline is in constant evolution and exceptions handling is subject to risk of human error. The procedure of the NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp can correct inconsistencies caused by mistakes of this nature, so it could only be considered completed after a post-mortem KPI analysis. When closed loop operation is performed, a pre-defined indicator set is considered to auto-detect deviations which could be associated to the activity of the application, so the NIx Configuration Consistency Auditor rApp can apply rollback to the previous configuration. If open loop operation is performed, rollback operation plans are also generated preventively to allow the end user to apply them if necessary.
