Ericsson Energy Performance Orchestrator rApp

Ericsson | Network Optimization
Monitors key KPIs and thresholds as defined by the operator in the node and surrounding clusters against degradation. Automatically halts any energy saving features in action in case degradation is detected.
Monitors key KPIs acting automatically in case of degradation
Allows operator to set thresholds on important KPIs considering accessibility, retainability, integrity, mobility, throughput, latency, and voice integrity.
Ensures that energy efficiency has limited KPI impact across network
When KPI degradation is discovered in a given cell the EPO autonomously checks if energy saving feature is active in the cell or any neighbour cells. If active energy savings features are detected these are halted and barred for some time.
Allows increased use and confidence in energy saving features
Since operators know that the impact of energy savings features are limited they can activate them with confidence that any issue is automatically handled. This also allows more energy savings as parameters can be set more aggressively for more utilization of energy savings.
