The NIx Coverage Optimiser rApp automatically detects network offenders (overshooters and undershooters) and applies iterative configuration changes (e.g. etilt adjustments) to optimise coverage. The rApp uses CM and PM data together with advanced geospatial analysis techniques and monitors continuous performance to prevent causing network degradation.
High detection accuracy
The use of network data together with geospatial analysis techniques allows the NIx Coverage Optimiser rApp to accurately identify the coverage area of any cell in the network. This, combined with a classification of the relevant neighbours by tier, enables precise traffic distribution insights, ensuring an accurate identification of offender cells.
Robust provisioning
The NIx Coverage Optimiser rApp applies network configuration adjustments to address coverage issues, continuously monitoring the performance of the affected cells and of their neighbours to ensure no degradation. In case of degradation or any type of inconsistency, cells are blacklisted and changes can be rolled back to the original value. In addition, low-band cells, critical for coverage assurance, receive a more delicate treatment to minimise the risk of dark spots.
