Optimisation of cell traffic and capacity
The NIx Special Events Handler rApp automatically monitors and adjusts various network parameters to optimise the traffic, allowing more users to access the service during mass events. In this way the performance, availability and reliability of the network is improved, resulting in a better quality end user experience.
Automatic detection of congested cells
Based on the ingestion of various KPIs and the implementation of a robust and reliable algorithm, the NIx Special Events Handler rApp automatically detects the occurrence of mass events and applies the appropriate network configuration for such scenarios. After the event, the NIx Special Events Handler rApp allows to restore in all configured clusters the baseline configuration (rollback) that was in use prior to the event.
Real time monitoring of event status
The NIx Special Events Handler rApp enables also real time monitoring of the event status. It regularly reviews KPIs and thresholds for congestion cells, configuration applied, cell status, configured clusters, etc. and automatically applies network configuration changes when required.
