Power Management Controller (PMC), built on Zinkworks Network Traffic Prediction (NTP) and Network Positioning Prediction (NPP) rApps, dynamically adjusts resources based on traffic load and user mobility. The DCAD algorithm activates or deactivates carriers to save power when traffic is low, reactivating them as needed based on UE density or traffic predictions.

The PMC-DCAD (Dynamic Carrier Activation/Deactivation) function is designed to significantly reduce energy consumption in RAN by intelligently managing carrier activation.
