Ericsson’s eSIM Manager offers the remote provisioning of subscriber profiles to embedded SIM (eSIM) devices in compliance with GSMA's consumer specifications. This enables the on-demand creation of International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) profiles, which, combined with Ericsson’s Secure Entitlement Server (SES), allows service providers to define new sets of services (for example try and buy, connectivity insurance and multi-device) to increase revenues. Operated by Ericsson, the eSIM Manager is connected to service provider networks using two secure VPN tunnels, ensuring optimized total cost of ownership and the quick launch of eSIM device support.
OUR KEY BENEFITS
Faster time to market
The service is ready to launch within four to six weeks after contract signing.
Lower Total Cost of Ownership
Through a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) model, the eSIM Manager reduces overall costs while cutting through complexity in the GSMA certification process.
The end-to-end solution detects, monitors, and manages threats, providing highly secure storage of keys and credentials.
Ericsson enables seamless eSIM activation for Samsung devices
Ericsson is introducing an industry first entitlement server solution for on-device eSIM subscription activation without QR-codes for smartphones – starting with Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip.
