Cloud RAN to Cloud & HW SI

Cloud RAN, particularly Cloud RAN DU, places unique requirements on cloud and hardware, such as single server deployment, real-time processing, time & phase synchronization, high availability, and specialized O&M handling. Since Cloud RAN to cloud and HW integrations are complex and technically challenging, Ericsson conducts fundamental integration of Cloud RAN with cloud and hardware in R&D labs, delivered to CSPs as Cloud RAN pre-integrated solutions. A reference configuration of Cloud RAN, cloud and hardware is used in pre-integrated solutions. CSPs can deploy the reference configuration of solutions in their network. Cloud RAN to cloud and HW SI provide additional flexibility for CSPs to use Cloud RAN with cloud and HW configurations of their choice. CSP cloud and HW configurations are handled as adaptations to reference configuration of the pre-integrated solution.
